I know I haven’t updated in a while, but I wanted to talk to y’all about Typhoon Sendong which recently hit Northern Mindanao in the Philippines. (Feel free to copy-paste any of the following; We would all appreciate it if you could spread the word.)
‘The deadliest typhoon of 2011’, Typhoon Sendong devastated the residents of Northern Mindanao, destroying countless properties, homes, and lives.
Over a thousand people have died.
Hundreds are still missing.
Still other bodies found have remained unidentified.
News reports say that the residents have run out of coffins to bury their dead.
As with any tragedy, however, there are the survivors.
